Wilsonville Named First “Healthy Eating, Active Living” City in Oregon!

The City of Wilsonville has announced here that it is the first Oregon community to join the “Healthy Eating, Active Living” or HEAL Cities Campaign, a partnership of the Oregon Public Health Institute, League of Oregon Cities and Kaiser Permanente.

From the city’s press release: People tend to make healthier choices when healthy options are accessible, affordable, attractive and convenient.

In addition, the city also features an entire web page dedicated to Sustainability, found online, here.

We’re proud to call Wilsonville, such a Health-Conscience and Eco-Friendly city, our home. But remember, our service area extends throughout the Willamette Valley. Have a great day!
